My name is Nathalie Beßler. I’m an early riser and a tour guide in Trier. When I’m not leading city tours, I work at the University of Trier, where I support students and staff members with disabilities.

An Overview of the Guided Tours

Prices and booking

The tours last 120 minutes each.

Group size: minimum 4, maximum 20 people

The tour can only be conducted in one language at a time—either English or German.

The person who books the tour first gets to choose the language of the tour.

The Trier Thermal Baths Tour takes you to the three rediscovered thermal bath complexes from the time of the Roman city of Augusta Treverorum: the Imperial Baths, the Viehmarkt Baths, and the Barbara Baths, whose ruins still tell us a great deal about the daily life of the Roman population today

Trier During the Nazi Era

This walking tour, dedicated to preventing the past from being forgotten, focuses on the events that took place in Trier during the Nazi terror. The tour sheds light on a dark chapter in Trier’s history—National Socialism—and takes participants to sites of persecution and resistance throughout the city.
